Boost Online Sales - Tip 1
This tip has nothing to do with either traffic quality or traffic quantity. This is the basic of basic to internet marketers who have been around, but is overlooked so many times by newcomers.
You Have To Have A eMail List!
If you are starting to promote a website that you are going to be selling from and you do not have an email capture page or a email list script, STOP, set one up and then continue with your promotion. This is the most powerful and yet the most basic rule of all internet marketing. So many people say, well I'll get to it when the site is more popular or I will get to it when I can afford one of the fancy ones. NO, you need one and you need one now. You don't know if your next sale has already left your site, because if you don't have an email list, you have no way to contact those who have been to your site.
Even if your site is getting 1 visit a day, does not mean that you cannot capture that one visitors email address and market to them for years to come. I don't mean sending a bunch of junk ads to them, I mean sending messages with value, messages with whats new on your site and messages that yes can promote your products or services too!
So if you starting off from scratch and you don't know where to begin, begin with the list and you can't go wrong.
